ARACHNID DAY

[by the Bungee Jumpin’ Cows]

Topic: Natural history of spiders

Summary: A spider serenades their “captive” audience.

I think I hear the doorbell

Guess it’s time to eat

My web it is a-jigglin' from some insects’ tiny feet

I’ll wrap you up in silk then I’ll eat your insides raw

You’ll be my insect smoothie, suck your guts like with a straw

Chorus:

It’s killer tag and I’m it, don’t you want to play (NO WAY!)

I just want to wish you an arachnid day

Webs can be triangular, funnel-shaped or round

Some have sticky trip lines. some dig down in the ground

Others they don’t have webs they chase down their prey

I’m so glad to meet you but I guess it’s not your day

When it’s time to mate, its a dangerous dating game

Some spiders eat each other things that wiggle are all the same

The females have a motto that means I risk my life

A husband’s place is inside the stomach of his wife
